J. David Vessels, Chief Executive Officer, is co-owner of AA Lock & Key, Inc. Dave's expertise is meeting the security needs of our clients and overseeing the technical aspects of the business. Dave is Registered Certified Locksmith with the State of CT (Registration #LCK.0000140), a Certified Professional Locksmith with the Associated Locksmiths of America, Inc. and is also a member of the Safe and Vault Technicians Association.

Continuing education in the lock and security field is one of Dave's priorities. In 2004, he was named to the Board of Directors of the Yankee Security Convention, Inc., the leading non-profit organization consisting of security industry representatives in the New England region. Yankee provides education, training and exhibition of security products to professionals in the Northeast. Dave is honored to be a member of this organization.

Deborah Vessels, President

AA Lock & Key, Inc. is certified by the State of Connecticut Department of Administrative Services as a Women Business Enterprise. Deborah H. Vessels, President, has extensive managerial experience and oversees the daily operations of the business. AA Lock & Key, Inc. is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut, Inc. Debbie worked for several years as the Administrative Assistant to the Mayor of Ledyard. She also has served as President of the Ledyard Middle School Parent Teacher Organization, Ledyard High School Music Boosters and the LHS Drug & Alcohol Free All Night Graduation Party Committee.

 

Kathleen Crowell, Office Manager

Kathleen Crowell, Office Manager, has been with AA Lock & Key, Inc. since 1989. As a valued staff member, she is very knowledgeable about the business and is able to answer most questions pertaining to services and can direct customers to the appropriate individual. Dispatching our lock technicians is her specialty, as well as managing all accounting systems.

 

Bob Watrous, Lock Technician ~ CT Registration #LCK.0000142

Bob Watrous is our main lock technician. His pleasant manner and eagerness to serve customers' needs make him a valuable member of our team. He is a member of Associated Locksmiths of America, Inc., and has had previous experience in the building supply business. Bob has been with AA Lock & Key since 2002. Bob is very proficient in all aspects of locksmithing. Through on-the-job training, classes at the Yankee Security Convention and his natural mechanical ability, Bob provides top notch security solutions to our customers. Bob is also well known for his friendly nature, honesty and integrity. We are pleased to have him as a member of our team! Bob is also a Registered Locksmith with the State of CT, License #LCK.0000142. On weekends, you can find Bob playing drums for the local band, The Buzz.
